We thought it was only fitting to kick off this blog with one of the biggest celebrity hotspots we’ve visited: The Ivy. While there are a few locations, we chose the most star-studded one at 113 N Robertson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048. The restaurant is conveniently located curbside and easy to find, but be prepared—it’s not exactly easy on the wallet.

If you’re looking to experience true exclusivity, this is the place to be. Grab a seat outside, and you’ll likely spot a parade of Maseratis, Bentleys, and Lamborghinis—it’s actually rare to see anything less than a luxury car pull up. From the moment you walk in, you’ll be welcomed with a complimentary glass of champagne and a staff eager to cater to your every need. Need to use the restroom? Don’t worry—you won’t even have to open a door.
The Food
Nothing short of extraordinary. Our top pick? Naturally, the most expensive item on the menu. If you’re ready to splurge, the Japanese Wagyu Ribeye is an absolute must-try. At $125 for just 5 ounces, it’s undeniably pricey and a bit on the small side, but the flavor is nothing short of spectacular (pictured below). If you’re not quite ready for that level of indulgence, don’t worry—there are plenty of more affordable options to explore. On the night we visited, they had a curry chicken special for $42, which was both delicious and more wallet-friendly (pictured below). As for dessert, the crème brûlée was hands down one of the best we’ve ever had.
We can’t forget about the drinks. Here’s a tip—if you’re trying to stick to a budget, you might want to skip the cocktails. At an average of $16 per drink, the alcohol can quickly add up and inflate your bill. But if you’re feeling like treating yourself, we highly recommend the pineapple coconut martini—it’s a true splurge!
So, is it worth it? Absolutely. For us, it was a natural choice for our first blog entry. This place delivers that true feeling of exclusive dining!
